Maisa Saleh, Syrian journalist

Ferrara, Italy, October 3, 2014. Maisa Saleh, Syrian journalist who worked as a correspondent for the Orient news television, following the civil war in Syria from Damascus. Concealing his identity, she led a weekly program with interviews with revolutionaries, also dealing with the non-violent resistance of the civilian population. In 2013 she was arrested and detained for seven months by the government of Bashar al Assad.
