Mogens Steen in his apartment. Mogens has been living in Toustrup Mark for more than twenty years. <br />
Toustrup Mark, 30 km west of Aarhus, has 25 apartments and a total of 70 inhabitants.<br />
The community is spread over 50,000 m2 of land with a forest, a soccer field, a volleyball court and a private beach.

  • Stockholm, Sweden, August 15, 2012. Tullstugan Collective. Dining room. Dinner is the main activity of the collective and is served during school term time weekdays Tuesday to Thursday. Members are organized in five teams with about 9-10 adults in each. Each team is responsible every five weeks to plan the week's menu, buy ingredients, cooking, serving, washing and cleaning.

The house also has several common rooms, kitchen, dining room, party room, kids room, gym,  library, guest apartment and a music room. For parents it is very convenient that the children can play together without leaving the building. This year, 2012, is the 25th Anniversary of the collective.

Stolplyckan is a large house consisting of four buildings linked by a corridor system.<br />
It has 135 regular apartments, 35 serviced apartments for the elderly and 9 flats for people with disabilities.<br />
It has also many common spaces, dining room, gym, ceramic room, photo-lab, music room, recycling, outdoor space for children, billiard and party room, garden with homegrown vegetables.
